people i have just bought an adapter and i have Belkin as a router and it won't connect but the thing is the light is green please can some one help me find a solution the light is green but just won't connect

The black adapter is designed to be fully compatible with and capable of taking full advantage of wireless N networks, as well as the networks this one is compatible with. Plus it will match an Xbox 360 Elite perfectly.

Yes you need some type of network client hardware to connect to your wireless network - you can buy the xbox wireless adapter or you can buy a generic 'wireless access point' for about half the price and use that instead - either way the box doesn't come with the required hardware for connecting onto a wireless network out of the box and you need to buy it (unless your xbox is near to your modem/router - in which case just run some cat5 cable between the two - think the xbox does come with cable already in the box)
