hi there. i am thinking of getting an xbox360 and have a full hd moniter but wonder if this cable would connect to it. my monitor is an acer x223HQ and info is scarce as it is a fairly new model. Any Advice would be much appreciated. Many thx in advance :)

Answer to James Ashmore You plug it in to your monitor, if your monitor has to types of ports vga and dvi ports you can have your PC and Xbox settup on the same monitor at the same time and switch between the two. To get the sound to work you plug the 2 phono leads in to the phone scocket adaptor which comes with the cable (unlike the gameware cable) then plug that in to the back off your PC into the line in socket (the blue socket on your sound card ) and then you will get sound form your speakers. (please note you may have to got to your sound options on your PC and unmute the line in if you have no sound)

Karl Gill: This cable is for the picture only. You need to use a separate cable for the sound. Which cable you need for sound will depend on what you are using to listen to it with. Hope that helps!
