I cant believe my new elite doesnt come already with this but my old xbox already had it. The cable the elite comes with is not for hd tv's so now i gotta pay £20 extra out. Good cable though, I swore by my old one.

for people with hd tv that doesnt have a hd port like mine(have know idea why) its perfect

Okay, I want this item. The improvement over scart seems a big one. My one question is what is the yellow plug for? On the back of my new Sony Bravia LCD there is only red, blue and green ports... what about yellow?

Well this product is an absolutely must for people with a hdtv. You can use it on a normal tv aswell as a hd tv and you can even get full hd! its amazing! There are 3 component cabes for the HD video, 1 Yellow cable for standard definition video and the standard Red and White cables for sound. Don't critisize when you do not know how to do something. It is better to research a little first - Like the booklet that come with it... or the internet...
