When it's time to launch your Rock Band career you can go for it as either as a solo artist using guitar, drums or the microphone – all three are included in the Rock Band In a Box package – or form a rock band with your mates.
In Rock Band you can tour the world's stadiums as a four-piece band, light up stages as a power trio, or Rock the Casbah as a tight drum and bass rhythm section. As long as the band leader remains in the session, you can add or subtract rock band members on the fly as you're challenged to complete gigs of various lengths and difficulties.
Four-player Xbox Live support means any of the Rock Band musicians can QuickPlay jam from anywhere (the singer's vocals aren't transmitted – the other players hear the pre-recorded vocal track). And if you’re not the co-op type, each instrument in Rock Band can engage in head-to-head Tug of War or Score Duel matches.
