When i was first thought about this game i thought it would be too confusing! But once i got started it all made perfect sense, all the controls worked perfectly; thanks to the great training section you will be a pro in no time. Its very addictive and the online is great. Strongly recommend this game. The only bad point, if there was one, is that the graphics aren't much better than the PS2 version, but still worth buying it!

Probably the best football game on the market now. why? gameplay, pin-point passes, champions road, online matches . These four elements make up this incredibly addictive game. In champions road you start off with the original PES master league team and will eventually recruit better players to replace them as you progress through. You are set missions, eg. score from a free kick, and the more you do of these missions the better players you are able to register to your team. The gameplay is fantastic, being able to choose exactly where you want your player to kick the ball. Altogether this is a wonderfull football game and i strongly recommend to all football fans.

An excellent game, more titles like this the Wii needs. On the easy level I was soon thrashing the opposition, though you soon tire of this as there is no challenge and need to move to a harder level. One thing I will say for anyone looking to buy this is go through the training sections. I jumped straight in to matches without doing so and when I did look at them realised there was so much more that could be done and improve the gaming experience.

This game has difficult controls to learn at first, but when you get the hang of it, you can start playing the addictive "Champions Road" game. Even though the game has no master league, this game mode makes up for it.

This is the only real Evolution that Konami have attempted in the last few years with their excellent PES series. Luckily, as the title suggests, Pro Evolution Soccer lends itself well to evolution, and this unique football game is an excellent example of how to port a game onto the wii. Konami could have rested on their excellent reviews for PES 2008 and ported directly over to wii, however they have instead decided to create the best control scheme for any football game EVER. The game modes may be deeper on the PS2, but it isn't possible for any combination of button controls to provide more immersive gameplay than the Wii's point and drag scheme.
It may feel difficult at first, but after an hour or so (and the training section) you'll find the finest football game ever made hidden beneath the scary looking controls. Honestly, when you score your first goal by moving your big centre half to the back post to fire in the header from the cross that YOU just played in, you'll know!
