Cable is 2m in length - long enough from my tv on the wall to the wii. Immediate impressions were that the colours were vivid and picture was much sharper, a massive difference to scart. As per other reviewers, set the Wii to 480p in the Wii menu. You are not going to get PS3 or Xbox360 graphics, just a better, more sharper Wii picture. I bought it from a Game shop as didn't want to wait for delivery given the postal strikes, 12.99 was about the most I would pay for it. My HDTV has optical out for the audio, so you still get the pro-logic sound if you hook the tv to a surround amp via an optical cable. Overall I'm glad I bought it.

Maybe it is my TV but I purchased a brand new Samsung 42 inch TV and every now and then when i use this lead my screen goes blank for a second or so every now and then. I saw a post on the net and somebody had the same problem and when they used the Nintendo Lead it was ok. But a big price difference.

Good quality cable, good length (about 2 metres) & connects into the back of HD TV nicely. Once you set your Wii onto 480p in the display menu you can notice a difference with the in game picture. Its not a massive difference & don't expect anything like PS3 of 360 standard, the biggest difference I noticed was in the colours, brighter & more vivid, but I wouldn't say graphics are much better, if at all.

I bought this cable the day after buying the Wii, make sure you change the settings on your Wii menu when you fit it, the difference is fantastic, I noticed it straight away. My parents own a Wii using the standard scart adaptor and when they saw my Wii they immediately decided they want this cable as well. Works brilliantly on my Hitachi HD ready tv. I recommend you buy it online as it's a few quid more expensive in the shops

works perfectly, to answer the questions below, the wire is roughly 2m long and in order to get the best out of the cable, all component cables must be connected! if your TV don't have sound sockets then you get great picture but sound will be poor if not missing!
