SummaryProduct Details

Central Park is hiding a secret. Built as a safe haven not only for the people of New York, but for something else entirely, generations of guardians have long protected the truth, preserving the vast parkland while the most expensive city in the world reached skyward on its fringes. Now the truth can no longer be contained, and paranormal investigator Edward Carnby finds himself inexplicably cast into the eye of the storm as over the course of one apocalyptic night he must uncover the earth-shattering secret behind Central Park. New York will never be the same again.

when i read the review's on this page i had to take a step back, an think what? ps2 graphics no a bit better than that me thinks, i don't know wich cable people are using one thing i do know is that dont stick with the standard av cable, moving to controls, different very different, fustrating? maybe but unless your playing a megadrive game with 3 buttons an a d pad, all games have the potential to be irritating? just a learning curve thats all, its good to have a game thats not all bright colours an joy joy joy, on the wii enjoy

graphically: a bit of a let down as the pre-release footage was amazing. considering the cutscenes in all versions have the same detail, youd think atari would make the in games graphics better for the wii however... gameplay: playable but a bit jerky in places. the wii version is obviously more about content and atmosphere than flashy graphics (the opening cutscenes for the other versions give away huge plots twists controls: rushed. not all the control features work well. for example, it can take several attempts to open the inventory, during which time, youre character has bled to death and/or been eaten. also, some of the more interesting features such as being able to mix and match itmes, have been removed. the game now automatically combines the relative items whether you want it to or not glitches: fell off a building a couple of times and didnt die overall: 74% - needed more development time to make it into the game we all thought was coming. definately not worth £40

First impression, wasn't overly impressed after all this hype :-( The back ground graphics are fantastic, but the charactors themselves aren't that good. Music is azaming, does give the game that epic feel to it! The controls are difficult to get used to and died (alot) at the beginning and camera can to be slow at times. But once you get into it does get better. Overall - 7/10 (game should have taken a few tips from RES EVIL 4)
