I really dislike the first two metroid games it just felt like you were given the basic premise of the story at the begining of the game followed by the classic theme of samus stepping out of the ship then you were left with a couple of hours of not having a clue about the story line. But the 3rd outing of the metroid series adds small things such as voice acting, the ability to mess around with the ship more for exampe call in an airstrike. Just small things that I felt were missing from the first 2 outings have improved the serise immensly the best first person shooter on the wii

If there were one game that could make or break the Wii's functionality, it would be Metroid Prime. Luckily Metroid Prime 3 makes superb use of the Wii and offers an experience that not only includes the highly-regarded gameplay of Metroid, but also interaction on an incomparable level. The game itself is a huge improvement over Metroid Prime 2, with most of the game echoing the achievements gained in the Gamecube original. What more can you ask for?

Was getting very annoyed with the fps titles on the wii, but once I got this i was very pleased. Shows just how well the wii can perform when the games are written well for the console. I'm already skeptical about forthcoming releases such as Quatum of Solace (already out, but i'm not prepared to buy until its been out a while with more reviews) and Call of Duty: world at war; I've a feeling both titles are going to be rushed poor quality ports to the wii.

A very good game. The Wii is lacking in FPS games and Metroid Prime 3 does alot to fill that void, but does fall short. The gameplay is very natural for a FPS and playing on the Wii is unlike any other FPS you've played. Nintendo have done well graphically on Metroid Prime 3. It shows that the Wii is capable of more than the mediocre visuals usually seen on the console and that these lackluster visuals are the fault of the developer. Metroid prime 3 is only single player though and lacks any multiplayer, meaning you'll only be playing on your own, but you'll be getting well over 10 hours out of the story mode. While there isn't online multiplayer, you can connect to WiiConnect 24 and trade certain gift items with others which adds a little spice to the game. Overall Metroid Prime 3 is a great game, with great gameplay and visuals and is definately worth the purchase at full price.

An amazing title, great visuals, sound, gameplay. The controls are sublime, exactly how Wii games should control, and the game design is superb, as it always is in Metriod Prime games. If you hated the Gamecube titles, this might be a little to in-depth for you, but for those willing and engrossing and enjoyable adventure awaits, and even if you don't like the sprawling maps and free form puzzles, the shooting action is so perfectly conceived and controlled you still have fun. A triple A title that should be on all Wii owners wishlist.
