With the Pro Evolution Soccer series renowned for its fluid, realistic gameplay, the new game builds on the implementation of Teamvision with additional key advances. As with previous releases since its inception in 1996, the ball is again treated as a separate entity, with the timing of shots entirely down to the player, while the new AI ensures that defenders work to close down space and block efforts on goal. Similarly, distribution of passes works along the same lines, with players using the space available to them to switch the ball. Close control has also been enhanced with more control when dribbling the ball, and a number of subtle moves added to bypass defenders and move the ball into space.

it was fun to start with but it then got boring by playing it again and again. this type of game would appelle to the sort of person who is a football fan and isn't bored easierly

i had mixed feelings about this game when i bought it. the gameplay is good old pes, but the shooting and set pieces can stil be improved. the graphics are smooth but just dont try to push the psp to its limits like god of war but are still better than its rivals fifa 08. its sound is pretty rubbish, i would rather listen to stupid commentators than white noise. but the replay value is excellent because of master league. i was dissapointed there were no online features.

Well after playing this game and looking hugely forward to it after months of delay, I must say that I was a little disappointed. May be because Fifa was terrible so I was hoping this would be much better. Don't get me wrong the game is fine but your expectations of it will let you down. The gameplay is better than the previous versions and there a lot more options which is great like the world tour mode and a master league but if you are thinking this is the next best thing, you are wrong I am afraid. If you are going to buy a football game then I would recommend this but do get an update from the net as yet again English clubs are without proper names and so on. For £20 you really can't go wrong as there is nothing much out there for us footy fans.

I am extremly pleased I did not waste the money on this. The friend gave it to me for couple of days to try it.
If tackleing is what you like buy it. Konami simmply did not deleiver. Master ligue was the reason for most buyers. They destroyed playability. They made the same mistake like they did with pes 2008 for PS2. If you go down by a goal the team imideatly runs out of ideas, passing disappears completely, the ball will always bounce back in to oppsition feet regardless how hard you are trying.

1. Not a single improvement in graphics
2. Still only two choices of turf grain
3. Lack of proper comentary is extremly irritating
4. playability is zero
With Fifa 08 being rubish there is no footy game for PSP out there worth spendin a single penny

i was a bit disappointed when i found out there was no online and even though it had the full edit mode it is still missing being able to write anything on the shirts for example 'fly emirates'. however, being a long term pro evo fan the gameplay is far from disappointing. it is similar to pes 6 but is a little sharper in passing and shooting and there is less problems with the framerate. but still i would reccomend this game to any serious football fan out there.
