As a huge fan of c&c, i find this game way to cartonie. i mean the whole purpose is to feel like you are in command and conquer the world, this just feels like a game. i've bought it new, played about a day, and just didnt enjoy as i thought i would. i know some will not agree, but this is what i think.

I purchased this game with no prior experience of the series, and as such I tried to keep an open mind about it. The game arrived very promptly, so top marks to GAME there. The game itself, while confusing to the novice, soon began to grow on me as I became familiar with it, and I found it very enjoyable. The cutscenes are one of the strong points of this game, done tongue-in-cheek and unashamedly so. I am well into the scenario mode, and am thoroughly enjoying it. I'm glad I bought the game, and as a reward card holder, I got something back in return.

Ive always loved the red alert series, so i knew, regardless of what the game was actually like, id like it. The story is fun, the units are extremely diverse and it has a large replay factor with skirmish options both on and offline. However, its main flaw has to be said are the controls. The ps3 controller is just too cumbersome to micromanage (considering their focus on special abilities), so if you have to option, opt for the pc version. I still feel in no way dissapointed with the game.
