I like making my officers in this game and building my empire so becomes the biggest and best in China. The rulers and officers are basiced on real people from ancient China.[i was shocked to find out] I have enjoyed playing this game and it still has me playing it for hours on end. A great game, a must buy, i would say.

This game is a must for anyone, if your a long term fan of the series then you wont be disappointed with all of the new features that this game offers to the series. If this is your first outing into the world of dynasty warriors then prepare to be hooked. The replay value is good with numerous campaigns and millions of ways to play each one. The new officer mode gives a different twist on the dynasty warriors gameplay allowing players to enjoy varous missions from protecting royalty from tigers or fending off hundreds of enemies from crossing a bridge. I've been hooked on this game from day one and its failed to disappoint yet, not the best game ever but by far one of the best games this year.

Like with any of the dynasty warrior games it can start to get repetitive at times. But surely by now you know that but you still get the urge to achieve something no matter how long a grind the game may become. Another improvement upon the Empires series of the dynasty warriors games giving you abit more influence on what goes on with the simple diplomatic decisions such as gaining gold or leveling up. One thing that I was abit upset about was that Ma Chao no longer uses a polearm instead he uses a chunky sword which made him too slow for me to enjoy playing. All in all definately recommend this for any dynasty warrior fan.

Well this game has alot of great pro's but a few cons too. Pros: Players can fully create a customized warrior using all sorts of different amours. Bigger maps. More troops on screen to musou them! Cons: Still seems like they havnt released the potential of the empires series yet. If your a fan of the DW series you may notice that some characters have changed weapons. Eg. Ma Chao who has a gigantic sword instead of his "Spear of Justice" If your new dont worry about it the changes. Well to me I did enjoy this game but after a while even the create a warrior couldnt keep me hooked for long. The game seems too linear even though it supposed to be you in control but saying that you get to play the game as either a Vagrant (search for a ruler to serve which then you will be an officer) Officer (carry out your liege wishes and help him conquer china) or Ruler (you determin what happens and how you will conquer. Pick this game up for something to do but dont expect anything gre

the use of specials in this game is a lot better and more entertaining than in the other dynasty games. the empire mode on the other hand let it down. its been a lot better in the previous empire games. i'll recommend buying this for the gameplay but the empire mode is rubbish
