A scart cable that connects your PlayStation 2 console to a television via a scart socket. When using the AV channel of your television, both picture and sound quality are better than if using a standard RF aerial connection. The cable is also fitted with stereo audio phono plugs. This enables you to connect the sound output from your PlayStation 2 to other audio equipment. As a further enhancement the cable is also fitted with a Guncon port so that you can easily attach compatible light guns or similar such peripherals.

TV Connection:
Make sure that your TV and console are switched off; plug the PlayStation 2 end of the cable into the back of your PlayStation 2 and plug the scart end into the scart socket of your TV; Most TVs will auto switch to the AV scart channel, however some TVs do not have this function and you will need to manually select the AV scart channel of your TV.

Audio Connection:
Connect the two audio phono plugs to the audio input of your audio equipment. If you choose not to connect to audio rquipment in this manner, sound will still be produced via the television.
