tomb raider anniversary is the best tomb raider ever 10 out of 10 and for £14.99 you get dvd and the great tomb raider soundtrack and ark work inside the cover buy it

This is an absolutely fantastic game, my favourite game for years! Whoever thinks the original is better obviously takes no notice to the story line. The original was harder than this, BUT, in this version the story flows, the controls are a hell of a lot more fluid (which i particularly love) and the graphics are amazing, and even on the PC version you don't need a ground breaking machine to run it. I really REALLY love this game, and will play it over and over again til it stops working. Just got Legend as i like this one so much, hope to be just as impressed. 5* from me any day for this.

Oh no where have the original tomb raiders gone, this game is soooooo sadly awful! The origianl TR 1 - 4 on PS1 are excellent with great storylines and tough levels and challenging and at times nearly impossible mysteries and moments which leave you playing for 24 hours solid! However,sadly now it seems all the modern TR and other adventure games have become easy by telling you what to do and tedious and annoying with far too much shooting and nothing like mysterious, slow paced adventures and games of the originals! Please Please re create the simplicity of the original TR games on PS3!

Ah,Tomb Raider,the one game that always gives a challenge and exploration. That is the first Tomb Raider. When the first TR was released,gamers were in awe. It had great 3D graphics,inventive gameplay and an interesting story that kept you hooked. It's sequels were never anything too special,because they strayed away from the tombs a little too much. TR has struggled to get back to where it used to be,it lost and gained fans along the way. Over the years fans have been wanting a re-hashed version of the original TR,with all the new moves Lara has learned through the sequels,and finally it came. This 10th Annivedsary edition has some memorable moments from the first game,you'll know what happens next in most areas. However it does have some surprises of its own. This game isn't flawless and I sort've felt let down by its glitches and some levels had bad level design, especially near the end. This game ended for me at a jump i just COULD NOT pass. It IS frustrating. The DvD is great.

More than just a remake, this game offers classic Lara (including those ever emotional shoutings at the screen as she plumits to her death) with loads of new gameplay cram-packed into a sleek and stylish package. Even people who know the origiinal Tomb Raider inside out will have more than a fair share of pleasent surprises in this nigh-perfect action adventure. Lara's back on top where she belongs. Fantastic game.
