Fallout 3 for PC, PLUS the Fallout 3 Game Add-On Pack, featuring The Pitt and Operation

For 200 years, Vault 101 has faithfully served the surviving residents of Washington DC, now known as the Capital Wasteland. Giant Insects, Raiders, Slavers, and yes, even Super Mutants are no match for superior Vault-Tec engineering. Yet one fateful morning, you awake to find that your father has defied the Overseer and left the comfort and security of the Vault for reasons unknown. Now you must emerge into the harsh Wasteland sun of Fallout 3 to search for your father - and the truth . . .

Great game - Bethesda and the Fallout license are a perfect match for each other. It may not be the 'Fallout' we know as from Interplay, but this is a reinvention of the brand. All in all, you could spend upwards of 100 hours on this, easily, just exploring the content of the game to its fullest - imagine The Elder Scrolls IV set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. That last point may also be a bad point, however, as someone who has played Oblivion may find a lot of similarities between the two with the main difference being the environment and textures. None the less it's a spectacular game, and I recommend any RPG fans go ahead and pick this up - the additional content makes it even better. @ Destroyers' review... I think Destroyer may be a little biased at Interplay no longer making Fallout, as it is very much a different game. The story is quite good and the graphics are excellent, although a tad dated. The game uses the same Gamebyro engine that TES IV: Oblivion does, and even

this game is epic, and to a previous review by a destroyer, there are mods and addon for this game that push it beyond what it was into a game it should have been, there are texture mods, mods that add more guns, even mods that take away the dustyland and add tree's and grass! for the price you should buy it now!

Wow, who the hell would buy this? Bethesda have failed in making a good game, and the game didn't even sell good either, so they think by added a few more things people will buy Fallout 3, which is why they did this. By the way...you do know a GOTY edition is coming out? Bethesda are greedy and Im glad people hate Fallout 3..it should teach Bethesda a leason. The game? Vault 101 the rubbish of the waste land. Bethesda are back and this time they failed so bad people saw it! Fallout 3 has bad graphics, horrible voice acting and a story so bad, it makes you want to use Fallout 3 as tolit paper! 1/10
