Hey I've played this game for a week or so and I have been hooked, with the same level caps and similar systems to World of Warcraft (which I also own.) I have found my self engaged with it's superb visuals and unique combat methods and unlike wow. Im yet to find it being repetetive, and I would very strongly urge you to getting this over WOW as I think it's the best RPGMMO on the market and with the exspansion recenlty out, I am doing to buy it immediatly.

Had this game quite some time now, I know that this game had a really bad start. I heard alot of bad things about this game, but considering I found it for £10, I thought what the heck. Now I have to say this is by far the BEST mmorpg I've played up to date. WoW, War, Lineage 2, Guild Wars. All great games in their own right, but this game is immense. Bugs have gone, it WAS released too early, it WAS buggy, it WAS bad. Now how ever funcom have done some decent patches and sorted them out. The game is just great. I'll be honest the PvP might need some touches, but a patch is coming soon to sort that out. As well as Dx10. Honestly to put long story short, the games great, 5/5. Great Graphics. Great Gameplay. Brilliant!! character creation. Nice choice of classes too.

I have been playing this game for about five months now and I still love it. In fact, as it is my first MMO I love it more and more as I get the hang of how to play this type of game and all of the different character classes available. Most of the teething problems have been sorted and things loke lag I put down to 'traffic shaping' by Virgin Broadband when it happens to me - which it rarely does. It helps to have a reasonable spec PC but I have a 4850 GPU (£120) and about £45 worth of 800MHz RAM, so nothing too financially demanding there. I can't compare to other MMO's as it's my first but I have seen videos of the others on Youtube etc and I am far from impressed - gameplay is another matter though I admit and so I reserve judgement until I do actually play another MMO (I doubt that I'd ever get past the awful cartoon graphics of certain other MMO's however lol!)

OK so I played WoW for around 18 months and got fed up with the lack of a decent single player plot to level up, just grind grind grind and always identical quests in each location so boooring, not to mention the petty guilds on there with the whole attitude of well if you can't be bothered to turn up at 6 every night and play for 4 hours then you aren't welcome! Rant over! So after much deliberation I bought Conan and I love it, mind you I also bought a new laptop to get it to run at the highest detail level and its brilliant, the effects of the water and the way the world looks are fantastic. The sheer detail is impressive, but it fades to nothing against the gameplay, its beyond compare, the quests actually seem to mean something and are nicely progressive. I am up to lvl 34 and am still in love with this game, the quality feel of the game and the fact that if you stick something with a sword it will bleed! Shocking! but the combos and everything else about the game scream attenti

released way way too early. Once you get past tortage (which is excellent) the game goes downhill at a fast rate. If you are on a pvp server your gonna get ganked all the time. Prefer pve ? then you wont see many people around as the pve servers are bare. Only allowed 5 character slots total (not per server All in all a great game potential but funcom dropped the ball big time :(
