The year is 1720 and the New World is on fire.

In Pirates of the Burning Sea you choose your destiny.

Pirates of the Burning Sea Features:

1,000 missions to play and the entire Caribbean at your domain
Blistering high sea action. Ship-to-ship combat in real time, where captains must decide whether to destroy or loot their enemies' ships
Join one of four loyalties (English, French, Spanish, or Pirate)
Conquerable world. Players of one loyalty work together to destabilize ports in order to make them eligible for conquest. There are more than 100 conquerable ports.
Build, capture and customize more than 50 historical ships
Customise your character, set sale as a Navy Officer, Freetrader, Privateer or Pirate
Over 450 pieces of clothing or 15 slots to choose from.

Highly boring, I own WoW, LOTRO, Tabula rasa. i would gladly pay a years subscription to any of them than play this,

This game is rather boring, and the graphics are nothing to die for.

Gameplay is dull, simple sword attacks or connon fights in boats, if you like slow gameplay and very dull customisation then i recommend this,
otherwise wait for Age of Conan.

WoW - LOTRO or Tabula rasa or Age of Conan i would recommend to anyone.

this is one amazing game

the only flaw is that to play it you have to pay extra

you have to pay £9.99 a month even to play the game which you already bought

but if you have that money to spend a month do spend it on this because it is amazing

the graphics are amazing and so is the gameplay

but who would spend that much on 1 game just to even play it

such a shame

played my friends copy ( great game really good theme ) only trouble the pay to play not worth paying every time you wanna play i mean youve already bought the game for what £25-£30 why pay extra for the chance to battle other players.unless you are constantly on the game for hours every day (which is norm for new games ) after a while not gonna be worth it, why not pay a one off fee when you register the game then you could play when you wanted

It's a good game my friend has it and he said there alots of things to do and the graphics are so so... only thing that the website forgot to mention is that it is p2p = pay to play... big disadvantage. i would'nt say it was worth it im affraid.
