Its a good game, well worth a play if u buy orange box however i wouldnt go out of my way to play it, it wont change your life. Especially when there are other puzzle games such as Braid out there that are cheaper and has a longer game play time. In Portal you can pretty much guess half the puzzle solutions.

I can't give this, apparently perfect, game enough praise. It is the best made, funnest, most challenging (in parts) game i ahve ever played in my life. Valve proving that incredible and fun games don't need to be epic stories and take hours to complete. A real pice of art. If you've not played portal before the concept is eruciatingly simple. You have a portal gun which can create 2 portals, a blue one and a red one. You must use your portal gun to create pathways to other parts of the map to get past challenges. You're reward for completeing these challenges? Cake ofcourse!! =) . But remember, don't trust everything you are told ;) . I would be so happy to pay double or triple the price for this game. Abssolutely birlliant, a must buy

Possibly the best puzzle game ever?!? you be the judge! Although, without a doubt, the best Boss fight and credit sequence! If you havent played this game yet, click buy, wait by your postbox for a day or two, and enjoy! gaming at its peak!

A really challenging game, but mainly for the older gamers in the family. It uses the valve and source engine well to create real life physics for moving objects, and good falling and jumping accuracy. This game is something that is properly mind boggling at times, unlike those brain training games… If you don’t know about this game, the idea is to complete challenges with your Portal gun that shoots holes in the ‘space time continuum’ (sorry if that is incorrect), to get to different parts to of the room, and finally obtain the cake at the end of the game... However, the major set back with this game is the fact it will last you only around 3 hours worth, and as good a game that it is, it is not worth paying £15 for. Portal is short and sweet, but if you really want it, get it in the orange box...

Portal - a mad, mindbending puzzle game originally created (amazingly) as a test for the game engines in Half Life 2 and the surprise hit that came with The Orange Box. Be prepared to think in at least three directions at once and generally two minutes into the forseeable future as you find yourself catapulted from portals in walls, the floor, celings, and even moving platforms. Up becomes down, only to become up as soon as you pop out of another portal, but the wild disorientation only adds to the fun as you hurtle through the levels. One thing to remember though - at the end fo the test, there will be cake.
