BAFTA Winner! Modern Warfare 2 on PC

The original Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare was voted Best Game of 2007 and 2008 by GAME customers and the sequel turns the intensity up even higher. As the US and British armies scramble to tackle a global terrorist threat, Modern Warfare 2 delivers the most cinematic, thrilling and over-the-top first-person action yet. From Siberian skidoo chase to Brazilian slum shoot-outs and a terrifying escape from a collapsing prison, Modern Warfare 2 takes you to the frontline, delivering the most epic firefights with no let-up and no escape. Modern Warfare 2 also turns up the heat online with amazing multi-player action and new two-player cooperative mode ‘Special Ops’. The ultimate action package.

Personaly one of the best first person shooters to date. But i wouldn't advice buying the PC version of the game. As a owner of the PC version. I have to say i find the game great fun but there are major issues to be addressed to the multiplayer side of the game. You have around a 50/50 chance of having connection issues eather connecting to a game and getting kicked back to the lobby screen or you end up having a poor game play experience due to lag. This is mainly caused by the players location, system, connection. Also to add Infinity Ward's support is near nothing.

This the latest in the line Call of Duty sequel lives up to the dramatic single player content, engulfing the gamer into pure paradise. The storyline is well thought out, keeping you guessing and always wanting more. With top of the line military equipment at your fingertips this is any big boys virtual dream. The multi-player content of the game is a big let down to any serious PC gamer. With a console base interface and no Dedicated servers it clearly shows that "someone" is being stingy and focusing on profit margins rather than thinking of their PC format customers. Dedicated Servers for any multi-player PC game in this age is a must and should not be looked over, god knows what they were thinking. Apart from this issue the multi-player content is brilliant and hours of fun. Comparing that with Battlefield Bad Company 2, well it just doesn't come close however I believe Call of Duty fans will stick to their title on this one.,

great story couldn't get better, it's got an ending were you don't know if that's going to be a MW3, so that's great too. Multiplayer is great when i don't get errors, but sadly i get errors nearly every 20 min of playing. Still 99/100

Huge fan of Call of Duty 4. The intense singleplayer experience and the massively, addictive multiplayer mode. Modern Warfare 2 is just as great. A gamer like me, that prefers First Person Shooter (FPS) games, Modern Warfare 2 is a must-own. Despite the fact, that Infinity Ward, doesn't want to support the PC players with Dedicated Servers, it's all around a great entertaining game. I play it all the time, and i really can't get enough of the MP. I think MW2 was/is too overhyped, though. The game is gourges and everyhing, yes. But the size of the Singleplayer is disappointing. But all-around, it's a great game, i miss the good old Call of Duty 4, though.

I Have loved Call of Duty ever since number 1 first came out. I bought Modern Warefare 2 mostly for the multiplayer but also for the campain. Firstly, I think the campain is amazing. Its both challenging and fun and has surprises arround every corner. Secondly, the multiplayer is also AMAZING! The new maps and guns are great and all this c**p about the game being rubbish because of no dedicated servers is rubbish. The game finds a new host so the server continues. Yes the guns are more powerfull but i personally like that better than shooting the hell out of someone with a SMG and finding that there still alive. The graphics are also once again perfect and could not get any better. To sum it all up, Infinity ward and Activision have once again created a truley AMAZING game. Welll done guys!!!!
