Dragonology 'is absorbing and exciting'
05.11.2009
People who enjoyed Templar Publishing's best-selling book Dragonology: The Complete Book of Dragons will no doubt love the officially-licensed videogame based on it.
This is the opinion of the title's developer Codemasters, which has claimed that Dragonology, the fantasy adventure that sees players immerse themselves in the ancient world of dragon tracking and flying, is both "absorbing" and "exciting".
Commenting on the title, which is due out this week on Nintendo DS and DSi, a spokesperson for the developer explained: "To find the dragons in their natural habitat, players must learn to mix potions and create contraptions as they travel from the icy wastes of Antarctica to the plains of Africa."
He added that players will build up their own Dragonological Encyclopaedia with information collected on their adventures, alluding to different curiosities discovered including dragon claws, teeth and scales.
Another dragon-related title due for release on Nintendo in the near future is Dragon Ball Z: Attack of the Saiyans, which is based on the kids' cartoon series.
