Sins of a Solar Empire receives special edition
29.10.2009
Strategy fans have been reminded to look out for a new special edition version of sci-fi epic Sins of a Solar Empire, which hits PC this week.
The Game of the Year edition of the title includes a fully-enhanced version of the acclaimed strategy game which incorporates all the updates which have since been released for it.
In addition, the lavish package will include a CD containing Paul Shuegraf's orchestral score, as well as a double-sided poster which allows players to display the game's tech tree on their walls for easy reference.
The title, which was first released in 2008, sees gamers take command of one of three spacebound races as they look to take control over the galaxy with a combination of trade, diplomacy and military force.
It was warmly received by critics, with publications such as PC Zone and Gamespy among those to award it high praise.
The title also impressed IGN.com enough to award it the title of PC Game of the Year for 2008.
