What are downloads?
Downloads are an easy and fast way to get your hands on some fantastic PC games. Instead of receiving a physical copy of your game in the post you download the game directly to your computer, giving you the ability to play games almost immediately after purchase! We offer a download option for a selection of our existing PC games, in addition to a new range of download exclusive titles, giving you a great set of games to choose from.
How do I purchase a download?
Purchasing a download game is slightly different to purchasing a normal PC game. We actually sell downloads through our partner Metaboli's site and they are responsible for taking payment and providing the facility to download the game to your machine.
Although the buying and downloading of games takes place on Metaboli's site, you will still search and browse for your games within the PC section of the GAME.co.uk website. Product pages and search results will both display the price of the download and will provide you with a ‘Go to Download' button. When that button is clicked you will be taken directly to the equivalent product page on the Metaboli website.
When you purchase a download you must create a new set of logon details on Metaboli's site. Don't worry though – it's simple and secure.
How does the download work?
Once your payment has been made at Metaboli's site you will be provided with a link which will install the download manager (called DLM.exe) on your PC. Simply follow the instructions to complete your download. You will be told when the download is complete and you will be able to start installing the game. The download manager will uninstall itself once the game has been downloaded.
The link you originally clicked to download the game is your personal download link. You will also receive this link in your order confirmation email. To ensure that you can reinstall the game without having access to the internet, please make sure you burn all the installation files to a CD or DVD.

Download Subscription Service
On Demand is a subscription service where you pay a monthly fee and are given a bounty of games to choose from to download at your leisure.
