Balance Board Compatible

Don King Presents: Prizefighter will bring the realism of live action match-ups and the true tactics of the sweet science together for the first time. More than just a night at the fights - players will be responsible for building a career by overcoming adversity, avoiding temptation, and balancing their commitments to train and promote, all while focusing on the goal of ultimately winning and defending the title belt. The story will be told by a revolutionary sports documentary-style narrative never before seen in a video game.

Bought this game, far too short, ko's too quick. And yes, it gets boring quick. I use more energy bowling on wii sports. I'll def be trading it in. :(

This is a really good game for working on upper body strength and fitness, you can really feel your muscles ache after just a few bouts and it really does work up a sweat. That being said there are many flaws in the gameplay. The story mode is quite short and follows the story of a non customizable generic boxer (the fact that this character looks nothing like you detracts from the enjoyment slightly). There is actually no customization of any boxers at all, which would have been nice to see. The balance board also detracts from the realism of the game as your feet are very close together, and not in a boxing stance. These are relatively small issues in comparison to the main flaw of the game which is that the punches (motions) you actually make are rarely picked up by the console and if they are they are rarely what you were trying to achieve ie. a hook thrown by you often ends up being just a jab or a straight (if you're lucky enough to have your movement picked up by the console).
