I think this game was really good. I enjoyed playing through the gripping, emotional storyline, meeting many new characters along the way. The graphics are lovely and also relate very well to the first game on DS yet are much more 3D and detailed. Many would say there was too much reading in this game but I think there has to be to really get to grips with the story. The puzzles are really clever and push the wii remote to its limits. The game is really an interactive story and it is packed with mystery. The game does relate to the first game in the series 'Another Code: Two Memories' which is also a brilliant game. I give this game 5 stars as I really enjoyed playing it.

Best game on Wii if I'm perfectly honest. Loved Another Code Two Memories, and Hotel Dusk on DS (Both from the same developer; Cing). Don't buy it if you're expecting lots of fast action gameplay. It's a slow (but not boring at all), mellow relaxing game with fantastic characters, a great art style, a beautiful atmosphere (Lake Juliet is lush, I want to go there, but alas, it isn't a real place....), a gripping story and a lot of the music is top notch too. I love the main song that plays when you're walking around the main areas by the lake. I WANT AN OFFICIAL SOUNDTRACK TO BE MADE AVAILABLE, NOW! Anyway, a lot of effort clearly went into making such a great game, you'd be a fool to not support such effort So go ahead and buy it.

Another Code on the DS was THE reason that I bought a DS so this sequel on the Wii was one game that I needed to Pre-order. This time the story takes place 2 years after the end of the first game and sees Ashley's dad stuck back in his old ways of compulsively working and not spending any time with his daughter. To try and rectify this, he invites her to a campsite near where he works to spend some time with her. this is where the game begins. I will not divulge anymore story so as not to spoil it as story is the main reason for playing this game. Like the best point and click adventures, if you don't care about the characters then you won't have an interest in the game. Some of the puzzles, while not being as ingenious as the DS original overall, have some stunningly realized uses of the Wiimote that will have you scratching your head in frustration and then your brain 'clicks' and you feel amazing for figuring it out. The whole game took me just over a weekend to finish but that is

Another Code: R picks up the story where the original DS game, Another Code: Two Memories, left off. Ashley Misuki Robbins is now 16, and is called to meet up with her father at a lake-side resort. The story leads the reader (I say reader rather than player as the game really is more like a mystery novel than a traditional point-and-click adventure) through the reunion with her estranged parent, and on to solve the secrets that Lake Juliet and its residents are hiding. Be prepared for a lot of reading when playing this game. The dialogue, whilst sometimes pretty mundane and not voice-acted, has its moving moments, particularly when the reader learns about Ashely's new friend Matt's past. The puzzles are engaging but not very challenging, and make good use of the Wii Remote's buttons and motion controls. However it doesn't feel as fresh and intriguing as the DS-specific controls did in the original game. Overall this is a fine example of the genre, even if it is a little slow at times

A good game. Its a good title for the Wii but continuously tapping through the text does get a little boring after a while. Overall though the game, or novel as it calls itself, delves deeper in to mystery with some nice teasers throughout. Worth a crack
