The worst sonic game- no. - The WORST game on the ps3. -2/5. terrible gameplay. Horrendous battle system. Not one for the fans. Do not buy.

The normal Sonic levels are amazing just what us Sonic fans want, but the werehog levels are to long and i find boring. The normal Sonic levels are done in 3D and switches to like a 2D mode which makes it feel like playing the old Sonic games on the Megadrive's and Gamegears.

I'm not sure qhat to say about this incarnation of our blue spiked friend - sure, it is much better than the original 'Sonic the Hedgehog' PS3 title, and the storyline does draw you in. However, I don't think any of this will beat the addictive side-scrolling action of the Mega-Drive and Sonic 1/2/3 !! Unltimate Collection anyone? ...4 Stars for Unleashed.

This game is one of the best sonic games yet, starting easy enough for well, anyone but the last level is hard enough to challenge pros and followers of the franchise alike. Many people will say that the night levels are pointless and the werehog just destroys the game but i think this is what made the game great, personally i think they are better than the sonic levels. The cut scenes are well done to give you lots of information towards the storyline and giving you possible hints. Like all games there are a few bad points about this game, in the werehog levels you will have to walk across thin planks with turns this would be easy except the fact than when you get to the corner the camera changes and leaves you usually walk off to your death. The SEGA team made you almost have to go back to previous levels to collect medals in order to advance. All in all a worthwhile game and the additional mission will keep you going for hours after the storyline, and to get those trophies.
