The graphics look like a cross breed of Nippon Ichi 2D Sprites in a 3D Background and a awful world map that looked like it came out of a SNES game. Published by the same company NIS America/Europe. The battle system is similar to Valkyrie Profile and Mana Kehemia (think semi turn based action) you fight on a 3x4 square requiring some thought & strategy as different characters will have attack range. This isn't your typical RPG as most of you would be used to i.e Final Fantasy etc, this game has no "uber" graphics, no graphically intense eye candy and no "wow!" factor because this is a hardcore excess mindless grind fest JRPG intended for the Otaku market. So unless you are an obsessive RPG gamer you will get bored really quickly. The appeal here is the playable crossover characters from Disgaea, Darkstalkers, Mana Khemia 2, Ar Tonelico and a few more to name. Just that the difficulty level is up a vertical cliff and you really have to see pass the graphics to en

I like these sort of games they are class. Users as in user rating, have given this game high rating of 8.0 upwards. Critics score is terrible 5.3. Well i like it like most users. Thanks game for this fun game. Even tho im only usto playing all games on the hardest mod. As i started the game in hard mode. It mabe tough but they arnt impossible. Darkstalkers aswell thats class i wish they do a fighting game for next gen not fair as in king of fighters and street fighter wheres darkstalkers??. These games are so like anime rpg games thats why i like them, users give it a good score then i will buy it. I dont give a dam what critics say i go by user rating. Nice postcards too i got this on thursday 24th cheers.

Got this game a day early, which is always great. Game always get it right with the fast speedy delivery. Cheers guys. Anyway when I got home was eager to try this game out straight away. first thing I noticed on loading up was how graphicly clear everything was and its really beautiful to look at. If youve played DIsgaea 3 expect to see similar graphics in this game, the battle system is hard to get used to put after about an hour of gameplay you'll find youself getting into it and not button bashing too much!! This might not be every ones cup of tea so I would suggest renting it to try it out first. Fans of Nippon Ichi will love this game and I'm looking forward to playing this over the weekend.
