Nah guys, you got it all wrong, they copied everything from Wolfenstein 3D (1992). The 3D? Copied from Wolfenstein 3D, First person aspect? Wolfenstein 3D. Guns in a first person aspect? Wolfenstein 3D. Depiction of health as a value in a first person aspect? Wolfenstein 3D. But what makes all of that seem tiny by comparison, is that they copied the English language! Truely shocking I may say so myself! A huge modding community surrounding the best selling, and award winning TES IV: Oblivion speaks volumes about it's horrible content and plagiarism.

I agree with Matthew, these games have copied everything from other games, you might as well buy Risen instead. Infact why don't you just save your money until a new game comes out? Wait from Kingdom Under Fire II or something. 1/5 stars for these awful horrible terrible RPGs.

A ridiculously harsh review from Mattew Dereck. A good game will get aped by many other games and this does not make them bad. Oblivion is certainly not lacking in detail or atmosphere even though Arx Fatalis had more of it and a great way of using magic. The posters in Oblivion could well have been homage to a great game since Oblivion had plenty of humour in places and if you really don't like the graphics there is more free player created content than you could shake a stick at online. As for Bioshock, it is more than ok, it is a ground breaking masterpiece in terms of both design and execution even if it does have the look of a console game about it. Both these games for such a paltry sum is a bargain indeed.

Oblivion copied Arx Fatalis and Thief 3. In Oblivion you will probably come accross these posters on the wall of a wanted person. This is copied from Thief 3, they even look like the posters in Thief 3 and it doesn't end there! The Dark brother Hood in Oblivion is just copied from the Keeper Faction in Thief 3. Thief 3 is well ahead of it's time and the Characters look better than the Characters in oblivion who actually have no detail. And Thief 3 can be played on Xbox 360 if you have the update from xbox live. Thief is also on PC. Oblivion also copied Arx Fatalis and Fable 2 also copied Arx Fatalis. In Arx you have to eat or you could soon starve to death. The world changes based on your actions and NPC's have a life. Arx was made in 2002 and it was well ahead of its time. Oblivion has based its main story upon Thief 3 and Arx which is pathetic. 0/10 for Oblivion. And as for bioshock..well it is an ok shooter but not an RPG.
