this game is a TBS (turn based stratogy) it is very good plot, graphics (for DS) but is quite hard at times and can be jus mean LOL yes but buy it it also has a map make and wi-fi go for it.

The fourth iteration of the AW series strips things back to basics, while also making the art style gloomy, the plot completely serious with only a little comic relief, and new functional features like a map zoom and Wifi battles. The unit and CO reduction works pretty well - the main point of another installment is to change the setup and learn how to play all over again, and this sure makes you do it, while still being a possible jumping on point. The graphics are a disappointment though - the cheery graphics the series used to have gave it a special something this one lacks. The plot's also just too much - dialogue has gone like Fire Emblem and goes on for far, far too long. Interestingly some features like a proper War Room have also been dropped and replaced by harder optional campaign missions. All in all, it's a good - possibly better - actual strategy game than the previous one, Dual Strike, but it's quite simply less appealing. Get one, but it's your choice which...

A very good and very hard game that will make you want to shoot yourself by level 10. Advance Wars:DC is astounding, the improvements made to the series since the last DS installment have given it some flavour. The storyline is a bit odd but it works well and the graphics have been improved magnificently. I couldn't put it down when I got it either.... until... I got to THE level. As with all Advance Wars games there is a massive learning curve as the game transcends from easy to ultra hard without much graduation in between. It's now on my to do list alongside Zelda, Coursework and DQM.

I would say this game is perfect for stratergy. I do think there a good story and there a good chance of reply with maps created and your own maps you can make + online play! New CO2 are nice and there are a few new units, like the bike. I did not find it to difficult however if your pritty young and new to this kind of gameplay you may find it a bit difficult later on in the game. I dont buy many games unless they are worth it. This one is worth every penny! ^.^
