Im a huge FF fan and the fact that they finally released FF III the only one not to be released is made a dream come true, i even ordered a Limited edition FF DS from japan for this game!, the whole aspect of the game is great graphics gameplay and difficulty and is a credit to the series cant wait till the relsease of FFIV on DS even though ive got it on GBA and PSOne!

The lost Final Fantasy to Western players finally arrived, 18 years late, several generations of gaming consoles later. So was it worth the wait? Did we miss on a piece of history in the making at the time?

Yes and no. It was certainly an important development in the series, especially with the innovative job system allowing you to completely change how your team worked - the feature which most characterises this installment and gives this an interesting twist over other old-school RPGs - but there's no real character development, the plot is little beyond "go to this dungeon now!" and the battle system is very traditional. Still, all of this is done with a lovely presentation, a good-natured feeling to keep you smiling and more depth than it would have you first realise. It's a good game, certainly, and it's good that we've finally got it. If you like old-school Japenese RPGs, you really should buy this missing piece of history.

Brilliant game, graphics and music really good for DS especially the intro movie, well worth the money as it is one of the longest DS games i have ever seen.
Really good storyline and intresting plot turns, the battle and job systems are very good as well as the extra side quests which are cool. Monster variety could have been better.
So overall 9.5/10
The guide to go with this is quite good but has quite a few mistakes

This game is fantastic. The battle system and job system allow for a massive range of combinations during battles. The graphics are excellent and give the game a very light-hearted feel :P. ^^ The touch screen function is also very interesting as it is a different approach to the way the game is played 100/100 woo :D lol
