As an adult it's a useful tool to improve your maths skills but don't expect a child under the age of ten (and that's if they are good at maths) to be able to use this and get anywhere near the times the game expects. 15 seconds to solve as many problems takes some beating and younger children may find it frustrating. Math's Play is better fro younger children

This is a boring game, you will be occupied for 20 minutes and then be bored, it does not understand what you write, if you want to improve your maths buy brain training - its alot better!

this game is soo boring, way too easy, definatly just for kids and the music is soo annoying. I played it for 15 minutes before deciding to trade it in. If you want to improve your maths your`d be much better off with (more) brain training. don`t waste your money on this!

I wanted to get better at Maths so here goes, I brought Professor Kageyama's Maths Training and it has helped me improved but sometimes you right a really good 4 and he thinks it's a 2! Sometimes he wears a suit but sometimes...he might surprise you! It does teach you the new 21st century ways of Maths so the DS tells you it all! Another thing, you can do Single-Card and Multi-Card SD Wireless contecting with up to 16 other DS users! (Teachers, use them in Maths lessons!)

The Good: This has some really good maths testing and training facilities with just about the right level of difficulty. Ideal for someone who just likes testing themselves or for someone that needs to improve their maths skills. The Bad: This requires the answers to be handwrittend with the stylus. For some users this will mean you write the correct answer but the program will see it as a different number. I have a massive problem with 9 which gets read as a 0 or a 2 and quite often 8 gets mistaken for a 2 or a 6. This can be really infuriating. A better implimentation would have been to have a touchpad imput for the right answer rather than a written one. If you have bad handwriting go for Big Brain Academy instead.
