This case is fantastic. Im pretty sure you could drop it from the top of a building and the DS inside would be fine lol.
Looks great as well and has space inside to keep accessories like spare stylus's which kids always seem to lose.
I haven't attached the strap to the case because I think the case looks better without and I don't tend to take it out and about with me.
But I have had my DS lite for quite some time now and there is still not 1 scatch on it, due to this case. A great buy at a great price, highly recommended.

too be honest im a new owner to the d.s lite and i bought one of these cases and find it is`nt all that heav to carry around and considering that the d.s lite is something you wouldnt consider leaving about un protection what matter is a little weight to know your babys safe!!
i would recommend this to anyone that takes great care in their belongings.

This case is the most indestructable case for any console ever(I think) it would be better if it didnt scratch so easily! The only bad thing is that you want to buy a game case and put games in it and take them out to play with ( it is a bit hard to take games out )*p.s only a bit . I wont advise you to hold it everywhere you go though (a bit heavy)

This is an extremely sturdy case, I'm confident that if I did manage to drop the case onto a hard surface that the DS wouldn't come to harm at all. Although I think the case may scratch quite easily (the silver is starting to wear off where it rubs in my bag) there's no doubt that the case itself can stand some abuse. I highly recommend this product.
The interior foam is quite hard but forgiving providing a snug hold on the DS itself. There's a Nylon/Foam panel that separates the DS compartment from the game compartment which prevents any games from possibly scratching the DS in transport. The Games compartment itself only has room for two uncased DS games, a single GBA game and a few stylus. I would suggest you invest in a stand alone games case if you intend to carry more games.
The strap itself is sturdy, as are the hooks to the case itself but I wouldn't suggest advertising your prize handheld down the high street.
