I think some people right off this game as soon as they see it, because it possibly requires more brain power than that of opening a tin of beans! i liked this game, as there is skill involved in the synthesis of monsters to create the best combinations possible, i personally spent about 2 gameplaying hours on the first few islands, creating the best combinations of monsters possible, then, breezed through the rest of the game with a full squad of A ranked monsters. Sure, the game can be repetitive in places, but if you liked pokemon or any similar RPG squad based game, this could be a good addition to your collection.

Another hit title from Level 5 and Square-enix, i loved Dragon Quest VIII on PS2 and so i thought id give this a try and was pleasently suprised its good fun running round collecting monsters as i remember all the characters from the PS2 title!!

This is one of the best games that I have played all year! It has incredible graphics and the gameplay and story are so charming, it's hard to go wrong. It is very simple but also very effective. It'll take days for you to complete the story and scout all the monsters. if you like pokemon but want more depth, go for this. Overall : 9/10 Note: It does take quite a bit of level grinding to be world class, but be warned, this will absorb you!

this is such a cool game 10/10 it reminds me of my fav gameboy color game which i sadly had to sell as i never played on the gbc or gba since i got my DS now i'm very happy THANKYOU (insert game company here) FOR THE GREAT GAME ^_^ even better th the GBC one as it's 3D and you don't have to battle in arenas just to move on ^_^
